Frequently asked questions
Everything about trying, buying and selling presets on Presetario.
Buying presets
How does the live preview work?
Open any pack and upload your own photo, JPEG or RAW straight from your camera. Every preset in the pack is applied to it at once and you can compare before and after. That way you see exactly how the preset works on your kind of photos before you pay.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photo is processed only in your browser and never leaves your device.
Will the preset look exactly the same in Lightroom?
The preview is calibrated against Lightroom and is very close. Small differences can appear, mostly in exposure and white balance. You can fine-tune exposure, contrast, highlights and shadows right in the preview to see what to adjust after applying the preset in Lightroom.
Which Lightroom do I need?
Presets work in Lightroom Mobile (iPhone, iPad, Android), Lightroom on a computer and Lightroom Classic. The format of each pack (XMP or DNG) is shown on its page.
Can I buy just one preset?
Yes. You can buy the whole pack at a discount, or only the single preset you like.
Where do I find what I bought?
In My library in your account. You can download your presets again any time.
How do I install the presets?
See the step-by-step installation guide for Lightroom Mobile, Lightroom and Lightroom Classic.
Selling presets
How do I start selling?
Create an account, fill in your creator profile and add your first pack. Upload your presets as XMP files or a ZIP, add a cover photo, a description and prices.
Do I need preview photos for every preset?
No. Buyers try your presets on their own photos and on sample photos, so you only need a cover photo for the pack.
In which order are my presets shown?
If your presets are numbered (01, 02… or Name 01, Name 02…), they are ordered by the number automatically. Otherwise alphabetically.
What are the badges on profiles?
Creators earn badges for sales, ratings and activity, for example TOP creator, Bestseller or Top rated. They show on your profile and next to your name.
Can I add links to my website?
You can add your social profiles to your creator profile. Other external links and e-mail addresses are not allowed in pack names, descriptions or profiles.
